From improved stability to advanced flight time and performance, the M30 Series has set a new standard for drone technology. The new and powerful M30 and M30T by DJI provide unmatched visual capacity enabled by advanced payloads and industry-leading technology. Designed for public safety, inspection, and more, the M30 and M30T are built for the next generation of UAV professionals.
The M30 and M30T are adaptable platforms with a wide range of options for the highest technology payloads. They feature a hybrid visual and laser rangefinder payload, with 48 MP Zoom camera and a 12 MP Wide Camera. Both of these cameras include 1.2 inch CMOS sensors that can shoot 4K 30 FPS video.
The laser rangefinder brings clarity to complex environments with precise measurements and PinPoint location data. It provides a detection range of 3-1200m and an accuracy of ±0.2m+D×0.15%.
In contrast to the M30, the M30T features a thermal sensor matching H20T's capabilities while also including all the incredible features the M30 serves. The thermal sensor offers 640*512@30Hz resolution and temperature measurement accuracy of ±2℃, as well as split-view option.
These drones combine endurance and durability for a long-lasting equipment life and efficient missions. They integrate multiple high-performance sensors into one single camera payload, controlled with an ingenious redesigned remote control and run on upgraded Pilot 2 software.
Both models also benefit from an improved FPV camera that offers better details in low light conditions allowing pilots to pick out the horizon during night flights.
For easy reference to The M30 & M30T Camera Features, let's take a look at the following table:
Camera Features | M30 | M30T |
48 megapixel 1/2" CMOS sensor zoom camera with 5x~16x optical and 200x digital zoom | Yes | Yes |
12 megapixel wide-angle camera | Yes | Yes |
8k photo 4K/30 fps video resolution | Yes | Yes |
Laser rangefinder which can give the precise coordinates of objects up to 1,200 meters away (4000 ft) approx. | Yes | Yes |
640 x 512 px radiometric thermal camera | No | Yes |
IP55 rating to handle extreme temperatures | Yes | Yes |
Can fly as high as 7000m (approx. 23,000 ft.) of altitude | Yes | Yes |
Additionally, the M30 series also has full PSDK integration, and supports a growing set of payload options such as spotlights, loudspeakers, edge computing, parachutes, gas detectors, and more. These can be attached to the drone via the top payload port.
The drones are compatible to the automated docking system, the DJI Dock which houses and recharges the M30 or M30T to enable remote missions 24/7. Learn more about why the dock is the revolutionary drone technology you were waiting for.
When it comes to the Cloud Platform Management System, the FlightHub2 allows for an easy integration to the entire DJI series providing synchronization capabilities enabling a coordinated management for ground teams, drones, payloads, pilots, and all of the valuable data you capture.
Despite the drones' reduced size weighing half as much as the M300, the M30 and M30T are built for harsh environments featuring :
Thanks to its radiometric thermal camera and smart low-light capacities, the M30T takes multiple nighttime shots and combine them into one clear picture. It is designed for advanced night and low light operations, making it ideal for nighttime search and rescue, fire fighting, and containment, among other applications.
As part of the M30 Series, DJI launched the BS30 intelligent battery station, which can charge 4 pairs of the TB30, at three different levels: standard, storage, and ready to fly. Each level maintains differing charge capacities:
Standard: Charges batteries to 90% in 30 minutes.
Storage: Maintains batteries at 50% for a longer lifespan and overall health.
Ready to Fly: Maintains full charge for immediate hot-swap during operation.
The self-heating feature of the TB30 batteries maintain The M30 functional in extremely cold conditions.
The M30 comes with the same unidirectional collision avoidance system built-into the M300. This system along with a range of software features will ensure your people and equipment are protected during missions.
The M30 series is the perfect solution for enterprise users looking to streamline their operations and requiring high visual capacity among other industry leading capabilities.
