Engineered for operational excellence, the drone deployment station is rugged, reliable, and always ready for duty. Its lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum frame ensures durability, while the temperature-controlled environment optimizes battery charging and protects sensitive electronics. Designed for rapid, large-scale deployments, the station features a streamlined design for efficiency and customized markings for public transparency and agency recognition. Additional features include an Ethernet port for easy network connectivity, remote deployment readiness with compatibility for Starlink and solar panels, a replaceable electronics bay for quick repairs, an integrated weather sensor for accurate data, and an emergency stop button for enhanced safety during operations.

Drone as a First Responder: How it Works

When a service call is initiated, the system receives the request through various integrations such as CAD, ALPR, and gunshot detection systems. Live911 provides critical real-time intelligence, including live audio and GPS data, ensuring that all relevant information is immediately available. The integration with CAD systems facilitates smooth communication between the dispatch center and the operational team, setting the stage for a swift and coordinated response.

Once the service call is received, the teleoperator reviews the call information, assesses weather conditions and airspace restrictions through LiveOps, and deploys the drone to the specified location. The station allows for instant deployment from the nearest station, ensuring rapid response. The teleoperator has full control over the drone's flight path, with city-wide path planning capabilities that optimize the drone’s route for efficient and timely arrival at the scene.

Upon arrival at the scene, the drone streams live video feeds to patrol units, command staff, dispatch, and RTCC monitors, providing real-time situational awareness. The ability to view live streams enhances the decision-making process, while the activation of lights and sirens can help deter suspects or communicate with civilians. Additionally, 2-way communication allows for direct interaction between the drone operator and officers on the ground, facilitating better coordination and response.

After the mission concludes, the drone autonomously returns to the nearest station to begin recharging. The station is equipped with precision landing capabilities, allowing the drone to land without operator intervention. Once landed, the drone quickly recharges, ensuring it is ready for its next deployment. This autonomous return and recharge process helps maintain high operational readiness and minimizes downtime between missions.
