    Synchronized Thermal and Multispectral Capture

This innovative system combines a 12 MP high-resolution panchromatic sensor, an upgraded thermal sensor that delivers twice the ground resolution compared to the previous Altum model, and five distinct spectral bands. Its exceptional high-resolution capability positions it as the ideal sensor for machine learning applications at the plant level, such as early-stage crop counting. Additionally, it offers a global shutter for distortion-free image results, open APIs for flexible integration, and an all-new storage device that enables capture rates of up to 2 frames per second.

    NDAA compliant.

The simultaneous capture of multispectral, thermal, and panchromatic bands eliminates the need for data alignment in post-processing and enables high-resolution outputs such as RGB color, NDVI, NDRE, CIR.

    High Resolution

The Altum-PT features a high-resolution 12.4-megapixel panchromatic sensor, enabling the enhancement of multispectral imagery through a technique called "pan-sharpening." This process significantly boosts the spatial resolution of the multispectral data, achieving an impressive ground resolution of 1.25 cm per pixel (0.47 inches per pixel) when operating at an altitude of 60 meters (200 feet).

    Thermal Sensor

    The built-in 320 x 256 FLIR Boson® thermal sensor enables accurate thermal maps at a GSD of 17 cm / 6.7 in from 60 m / 200 ft flight altitude.

    Calibrated Multispectral Imagery

Each Altum-PT camera kit includes a Reflectance Panel designed for ground-level calibration, along with a DLS2 light sensor for measuring irradiance and sun angles. These radiometric calibration instruments effectively accommodate various weather and lighting conditions, enhancing the precision and dependability of the data. This, in turn, facilitates time-series analysis and ensures the consistency of outputs across different time periods.

    Powerful AI Functionality

Thanks to the panchromatic band, Altum-PT enables high-resolution RGB, multispectral, and thermal imagery for machine learning applications such as plant counting and advanced vegetation research applications.

    5 Multispectral Bands

Designed for UAV deployment and specialized in vegetation mapping, Altum-PT offers a range of applications:

The Altum-PT SkyPort ensures perfect compatibility with DJI’s M300 RTK drones. The camera also features an open API interface for easy integration with many popular drone and software platforms.

Irrigation System Monitoring: Altum-PT's thermal imaging capabilities are invaluable for identifying issues within irrigation systems. By detecting variations in temperature caused by clogs or leaks, it provides insights into areas with excessive or insufficient irrigation.

Optimized Irrigation Scheduling: Precise irrigation timing, frequency, and duration are critical for crop health. Altum-PT's thermal imagery aids in water management by highlighting crop canopy and soil temperature differences, assisting irrigation managers in making informed decisions.

Disease, Pest, and Nutrient Deficiency Detection: Altum-PT's high-resolution multispectral imaging offers enhanced visibility into plant canopy physiology. It aids in early detection of diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies that may not be visible in standard RGB imagery. Various multispectral indices and composite data facilitate the early identification of these issues.

Efficient Plant Phenotyping: Altum-PT streamlines plant characteristic measurements by capturing comprehensive data in less time. Researchers gain deeper insights into how different traits respond to varying growth conditions, reducing the time and effort required for manual assessments.

Accurate Fruit Yield Estimations: Traditional fruit yield estimation methods like manual counting and time-consuming analyses are resource-intensive. Altum-PT's combination of high-resolution RGB, multispectral, and thermal imagery enables more precise yield predictions through algorithm-based fruit counting and temperature analysis, offering a more efficient and cost-effective approach.

Water Stress Prediction: Canopy temperature serves as a reliable indicator of plant stress, especially related to water availability. Altum-PT's thermal imaging allows farmers to periodically assess plant physiological status and detect subtle changes in canopy temperature, aiding in early water stress prediction and mitigation.
